Feb 9 – no class: Darwin Day Eve (preparing for Darwin Day Feb 10)
Feb 16 – Hot Science Cool Talks (HSCT) sponsored by UT Environmental Science Inst.: Texas’ Own Coral Reefs [not a CFI event; however CFI Austin is a sponsor]
Feb 23 – CFI class: Viruses and Prokaryotes
Mar 2 – CFI class: Protists
Mar 9 – CFI class: Fungi
Mar 23 – HSCT: Sleuthing, The Avengers and Chemistry

The CFI classes will be held at the Highland Campus (HLC) of Austin Community College at 6101 Airport Blvd.
HSCT lectures presented by the Environmental Science Inst. at UT Austin require attendees to register at their web page. Details will be posted separately on Meetup with a link to register; these lectures are not at HLC. [note: HLC is not the same as HBC where ACC admin. is located]

You may want to take notes. Bring a flash drive, if you would like a copy of the Power Points presented.

These are free classes for paid members of CFI Austin [plus one guest]. Being on the CFI Austin Meetup list is not the same as being a member. Payment to join needs to be done before attending classes – no payments can be accepted at the classes.
