Testing Medical Tests by Dr. Zain Hakeem in his own words: "Medical testing is a subset of my favorite problem in medicine, cognitive bias and diagnostic error, using a probabilistic approach to enhance medical intuition. And interestingly, I think it works really well as an analogy for all kinds of decision-making, science, belief formation, etc. It's (in my opinion) a really rich and interesting area that is relatively poorly understood because the mathematical results are sometimes counter intuitive."
