Before being hijacked by Christians for their celebration of Christmas, Saturnalia was a winter solstice celebration held by the Romans in honor of their deity Saturn. The festivities included a banquet and gift-giving meant to set normal social protocol on its head.

Following in the footsteps of other great co-opters, CFI-Austin gathers every year to celebrate the winter with a party and gift-giving. Saturnalia provides a time for old members and new members who may not see each other regularly to come together and socialize.

Join us on December 10, 2016, at 6pm, Trinity United Methodist Church, 4001 Speedway.

Please RSVP on Meet Up

Saturnalia admission is $20 for adult non-members, $10 for CFI - Austin members, and children 15 and under get in free.

Enter at the door on 40th Street, and follow the signs. There is free parking in the lot on Speedway across from the church.
